Stephen has enjoyed a successful career in US & Europe in private and public sector. Stephen is one of Europe’s top technology leaders - recognised as the UK’s No. 1 Most Influential Person in Tech500’s Power List & Evening Standard’s Top 3 Businesspeople. Stephen is the former CEO of global tech firms Sage, Micro Focus, Chordiant and currently Cirata – overall adding circa $10bn of market value. He is also former Chair at Tech Nation. Stephen was the first Chief Operating Officer for UK Government during the coalition government (2010-15) and Prime Minister’s Business Ambassador for Technology. He is Chair of the Science & Technology Honours Committee and senior advisor to Blackrock as well as angel investor and mentor to CEOs. Stephen graduated from University of Bath in 1984.
