Nishchay Gogia is an award-winning showrunner, producer, and creative head with over 20 years of experience shaping some of India’s most successful and celebrated content across reality TV, documentaries, ad films, lifestyle, fiction, and travel programming. As Founder and Chief Storyteller at 1947 Productions, he specialises in creating high-impact branded content, original formats, and narrative-driven stories for OTT platforms, broadcast networks, and global brands. His work spans reality competitions, fiction, food and lifestyle, Bollywood, tourism, fashion, comedy, health, and sports—consistently delivering content that resonates with audiences while elevating brand storytelling. His work has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including Best English Documentary Movie in 2024 for Plastic Fantastic (Docubay), where he was Producer; Best Tech Campaign (Silver) in 2023 for Lost & Found in Singapore (MX Player), as Producer; Best Lifestyle Show in 2021 for Star vs. Food (Discovery), as Showrunner; and the Best Non-Fiction Show ITA Award in 2019 for India’s Got Talent (Colors TV), where he was Creative Director. He has also led Indian adaptations of global formats such as Got Talent.
