Florence Ward
Bath School of Management alumna Florence Ward (MSc Management with Marketing 2016) is a growth marketing consultant at Accenture and an ocean rower. During the pandemic, she rowed across the Atlantic Ocean, breaking the world record for the youngest female trio to row an ocean. The trio, Atlantic Antics, took 52 days to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, on an adventure of a lifetime. They battled everything from 30ft waves to a broken watermaker on New Year’s Day, but highlights included a visit from whales on Christmas Day and the phosphorescence and moonrises that lit up the night. In her professional life, she honed her craft in data & analytics in agency land (most recently at Publicis Media) before switching to consulting where she now covers all things data and technology in the marketing space. In 2021 she was recognised at an industry level when she won a Campaign Female Frontier award for 'Marketing - Rising to the Top'. Outside of work, she's a public speaker for schools and companies on topics of female resilience and lessons from the ocean that are transferable to the office.
